1. chocolate bark- baking is a form of meditation for me and i love to reward myself with chocolate daily.
2. journal- writing can be a form of meditation for me. i also jot down some notes or inspirational quotations from teachers after a class.
3. apples- have enough sugar in them to give you a little lift and fill you up after (or before!) class.
4. lululemon athletica headband & towel- for when you’re inverted and your hair keeps flipping into your face. some classes will leave you sweaty and glowing. keep your space and body tidy with a little towel.
5. light on life by B.K.S. Iyengar- such an inspirational and easily accessible book.
6. yogitoes towel- for those sweaty classes the sticky towel gives you extra grip for no slips. also great to throw over a mat you borrow from the yoga studio!
7. sunblock- practicing outside in the Louisiana sunshine is wonderful but it’s important to protect your skin.
