It’s good that I haven’t been talking to you up until now because, boy, can I grouse. This challenge has seen me exercising my kvetching muscles almost as much as my bodily ones. Truth be told, though, as the end of the challenge approaches, I’m feeling a touch wistful. In these past few weeks, sheer necessity has made me adept at time management. I’ve learned to schedule ahead for myself and to carve out a two hour block of every day, workdays included, for yoga (and the back and forth commute) while not letting any other obligations drop AND making sure to get enough rest at night. I’ve also gotten myself into a routine of HEALTHY meal and snack planning, food shopping, and cooking ahead so that my NON-yoga time runs smoothly. I am a well-oiled machine…as of twenty-four days ago. So I now find myself wondering…what happens to all this fine machinery once the structure upon which it was built falls away? All along, I had been anticipating “Day 30…finally!” but now it’s looking more like “Day 30…already?”
